Id have to say my favorite weapon for a game would be: ANY car in GTA3:) but firetruck with insane handling code is the most fun ever! It is histarical to hit a copcar head on and launch it like 300ft into the air and you just keep mashin along!

Kitana's classic weapon from every MK game. Only here she could hurl them into peoples faces and they'd stick. I figure that it's probably a pretty cheap move and subsequently the reason people stopped playing MK with me in favor of SCII.

Quad-shotgun: Turok Evolution
A big-ass shotgun...only...umm... it was like... four shotguns...yeah.


Cerebral Bore: Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Each shot was pretty much one free kill. It was quite the bloody little spectacle too.

Wave Buster: Metroid Prime
Just plain cool. The ice spreader was pretty cool too.

my favourite weapon of the moment is the pounce move in aliens vs predator 2.it's soo freaking cool to jump onto your enemies and slash them to stripes in mid-air.
other than that there'd probably be the rocket launcher in quake arena 3-also because of the rip into pieces factor,the sniper rifle in aliens vs predator 2 and the spear gun in aliens vs predator 2.
yeah,i play aliens vs predator 2 all the time the last time.(eh,did that make sense? :bashful: )

nofingers - faulk yeah, the Crissagram from Castlevannia SOTN is insane! The funniest thing in the world when you kill your first enemy with it. The blades of pure death.

Metroid 1: The screw attack. You just jump and smash through enemies. Even the almost impervious Metroids themselves bounce off you.

Contra 1: This is real old school too, but Spread was the main gun to have.

Megaman: The old nes series. MetalMans weapon from MM2. It shoots fast and at any angle, destroying foes from even the smallest nooks and crannies. I'd rather use that than my regular gun, and it doesn't even run out fast.

Counter Strike: Quote, "Arctic Warfare Magnum ($4750) (see footnote) - 10 round detachable magazine. 2 level scope. Powerful (400% damage with 1 shot to head). Accuracy quite bad while moving or without scope. One of the few weapons that will drop a person with 1 shot to the chest. This weapon drops an unarmored opponent in one shot no matter where the hit, be it arm, leg, or foot. This is commonly a "disgraced" weapon, as many feel it is too easy to kill with it. "

With all the cheap crap that goes on in this game, it is a relief to use this dramatic weapon.

the bolt rifles in medal of honor:AA(and expansions) were much more satificatory to kill someone with than the cod rifles, i think i'll try to go down a list of games i've played that i enjoyed.


Doom 3: Shotgun(probably the best feeling shot gun in a game ever)

Medal of honor- AA : M1 Garanad (has a great kick and feel, just works perfectly)

Medal of honor- Spearhead +: Gewehandarante(i think that's the spelling), it's a rifle that fires grenades.

Cod: PISH smg (the sound and spray of the gun match up so perfectly)

Starwars Battlefront: Droidekia's dual blasters( basicly you are a turret... it rules)

Battlefield vietnam: LAW/bolt rifle combo (best feeling in the world is killing some a vehicle from the other side of a map with a very tactical law shot[it archs so it's a bit tough).

Mafia: Tommy gun (an amazing feel to the fire)

Max Payne: Dual pistols of any sort (one of the only games that makes dual pistols work right in my mind.)

Halo: Warthog chain gun ( amazing animation and just plain fun)

Quake 3: railgun (just a better 'feel' than the other weapons in the game i guess.)


Soul calibur: Kalik's bo-staff. (i'm a HUGE fan of bo style combat so i generally always pick him)

- Mauser K98k in MOHAA and COD. I like the way the rifle looks, but also in these games they are so fun to use. Nothing is better than some guy rushing at you waving his SMG around spraying and praying and then BAM! you deliver a single shot right in his face. Followed by the bolt action sound.

- 30MM cannon in Interstate 76. Simple. Just like the K98. Dont even need to turret it. Just load three into the Royal or bust out my driving backwards in a Ford coupe with a single 30MM technique. Man I miss that game.

i love the "stake gun" from painkiller...that gun is awesome...
when you shoot the stake at an enemy, it pulls them back and hang them against the wall and the dangle and bleed.
the stake is about maybe a half or a meter long...talk about painful!

muffin man- reminds me of the speargun in avp2. shoots small spikes which(if aimed correctly) nail your opponents head to the wall(leaving the body standing there and falling to the ground without head-so much fun(most of all when invisible)).
injection223-you're absolutely right-runners are the best.
what i love is when playing with many many players and then getting into a bloodrush(works perfectly on leadworks map)-you just run from player to player and pounce them in the face. :teeth:

Hook that weapon up with, I think the Gradius sword, in the other hand, hook up the relic, "Offerring", man, your character can attack an enemy 8 times in one attack, either 8 or 10, just continuously wailing on them, and if your health power is at it's max, 9999, then atma weapon takes off 9999 from enemies with each blow, while the Gradius takes of around 5 or 6000 with each hit. Using that shit makes you feel like the master! It's almost humorous.

anyways they all ahve secondary weapons, and one guy had a hatchet, and you could throw at your appoinet and it would stick in them no matter where it hit them and it was instant kill.

so anyways... for me, nothing compares to the sound and visuals of popping heads with the crossbow in Half-Life deathmatch...
i almost only use that weapon... head shots left and right

To be honest, most other FPS weapons aren't as hardcore as it should feel. Far Cry's OICW comes close to the actual weapon performance but just doesn't cut it.

I would say UT flak gun was my favourite as well as the instagib rifle, bubbles from bubble bobble, knifing in CS is always fun, fish gun in opposing force, red turtle shells in mario kart, right now the gravity gun in hl2 is doing it for me and I also liked the original hl trip mines hehehe, oh yeah and the crossbow in hl was really cool (sneaky sneaky)

It's pretty neat to get a weapon damage mutator for UT2003 and crank up the damage about 400 percent (maybe upwards 500 on the minigun and plasma). It makes the game a lot more playable. I wish I could find a player respawn delay mutator though.
