Hey guys, couldn't find an answer online (not really sure how to look this up really), so I thought it would be best to ask here.

Whenever I make quick strokes on my tablet, I get these boxy lines, and I was wondering if there is a way to make them nice and smooth.
I tried drawing slowly, but it's hard to keep the hand steady (lower right line).

Tablet info:
Wacom Intuos GD 12x12
Proportonal fit (same problem w/ other settings though)

This is in Photoshop 7.

I hope someone has an answer! :[

...and don't put the tablet too close to the monitor. The electric interference (from some monitors) might cause the cursor to tremble.

I know that wasn't your problem but others reading this thread might have it (or maybe it was just me).

Prometheus|ANJ: thanks! I have the same problem with my tablet cursor jittering all over the place. It goes away when I hold the tablet back from the moniter. Im now wondering what wonderful radiation goodness im baking in all day >:{
