evil dan, are you in school? If so where?
If not, where do you work?

Also, have you seen the startwars art books?
Reminds me of dermont powers. Really great stuff.

Do you have a website??

Agree with folks. Great sketches.

Now, try maybe finish something? Would love to see.

Brokencow - Out of school, currently im getting my port together. The art of ep II was amazing, completely changed my way of looking at digital work.

Yaseck - I'm trying to get to some finishes done. Recreating the looseness that I like is so hard in a finished piece. It is something I struggle with a lot.

your style is one of my favorites right now on this forum, maybe i ask what's the progress you do for these types of drawings?

Do you start off a much larger size and then scale down?
Is the line art the original line art used for the sketch or do you sketch the piece then reink it, because your lines seem so confident.

Davi,

I usually start pretty small at 72 dp at around 8 x 11. i sketch around with paintbrush with the opacity and size pressure option checked. I try to stay loose as possible at this point .Once im happy with the initial sketch I resize to a higher resolution. I make another layer and lower the opacity on the sketch underneath. Using the lower rez sketch as a guide I draw the details while still trying to remain loose. Once I'm happy with the drawing I slap on color to it with multiple and/or overlay layers of color on top. For coloring I use the paintbrush with only the opacity pressure checked. It's pretty simple and fast kind of like watercolors or markers :)

As for the painter stuff, I'm still trying to figure a nice workflow. Most of the time I just end up using everything, it's an art store in a box.

nice energy in these.

id be curious to see if that energy could be preserved if you tightened these up a bit more.

if these are meant to be concepts, it would help the next person in line if the designs were more clear and readable.

geat work.
