These are just a couple of sketches/ideas I have been playing with in painter, still new to the program, so any crits are always appreciated.

Though its very rough I like it. You got the shapes down well. Can't wait to see what some of your finished work will look like.

You're off to a very good start! I like the way you handle light.
Second and last one are my favourites!

Thanks much for the comments.
Kresimir - Yeah, I actually prefer to keep it rough, for some reason I always botch it when it gets down to the fine details, I guess I just never know when to stop.
dCepT - Thanks, I think my light has to do with painting too dark, then compinsating, but that is the way I have always done it, and it does not seem interesting enough to me if I don't.

the second one is great in shades and highlights!
my crit. is about the rough egde of the sketches (excluding the 4th one). well, they look a bit more "messy" than "rough". you needn't go into fine details but these (esp. 1st and 3rd) needs more refinement.
good work, after all.
do keep up and post more...

Sandrue - Thanks for the crit, I guess I never considered them messy, but you are definately making me give them a second look. I will try to spend a bit more time on the next ones, may even go back and clean these up.
