Hi, Im pretty new to posting on these forums, Ive been lurking around alot enjoying all the images you guys have posted..

Heres a little background on me, since none of you will know me!

My name is Jared Moulding, I live in Bradenton, FL (the town directly noth of Sarasota, for those of you not familiar with the area). Im 19 years old. I guess thats enough for now!

Anyways, I jsut did this a few minutes ago.. not sure how long it took me, less than 30 min for sure though..

Congrats, it looks nice. I've done nude models in art class and find it so much more difficult to capture the depth and weight of the model in real life. Have drawn any nudes before (live, not print)?

nice rendering. for cits i would see pay attention to the negative space-for example, the elbow should be closer to the butt. also in your drawing i see roughly three tones, not nearly as many as in the picture.

Ive only taken art classes in high school (which were a waste of time)

That was my first drawing ive done in about a year and a half... Im surprised it turned out as well as it did, i thought it would be alot worse sine i hadnt drawn for a while.. Im trying to get back into drawing, and I want to go to school for art..

Yeah I noticed her butt was too far from the elbow, i didnt really notcie that untill i looked at the pic later.. Ill probably do a few more this upcoming week..
