Well I've shown some of the interior artwork for the book but oddly enough never the cover. Well I just have to fix that or the whole world will be destroyed... Can't have that now can we.

And before someone starts..because someone will, it's supposed to have a comic book look to it. Ya know that's not such a bad thing folks. I like comic books and I'm not afraid to admit it.

hmm it reminds me of the stuff coming from image back in the 90s, mostly the prophet series if i remember correct( im going by the ads that where all over the store, don't know what the book really looked like)
perhaps a bit more shadow and tonal range. it comic art, go for it.

For any other kind of painting I'd say the colors were too intense over the whole surface, but package design needs to be that way. So good job.
Anything with babes, guns and robots is a winner in my book, but I really like that logo.

defcombeta, I used to love that comic... well when Platt started doing the artwork. Rob Liefield, when he drew it always made the characters heads too small. Wasn't my cup of tea. The early days of image, oh how I miss them.

Gilead, yeah it's pretty bright. For the first book we really wanted it to stand out from across the room. Our second book cover isn't quite as bright. Currently I'm working on the cover for the third book, maybe, and it's a big maybe I'll try subtlety. (I'll have to look it up and find out what it means first)

One things for sure though all of our covers will have babes and guns, I insisted. :bashful:

Everyone who plays the game wants to play one of the Golems, that's the big bot. Must be all the shooting and stomping of everyone smaller than you that appeals to people.
