It is an interesting design, but the hand in the back is too big, unless its meant to be that way, being that its alien, but if nots, its way too big.

Yeah you need to scale down the hand in the back. Now I'm pretty sure you know your anatomy but the perspective on his midsection os a bit iffy and confusing. I love it though. Makes me wish I could afford a tablet. Unless of course you mouse painted it. Which would...... no. :rendered:

Liked it, has a similar feeling to it as the Protoss that I happen to lika a lot but in a way, this one is a bit more cool because of the armour.

I have a feeling the large hand was intentional, since this is some kind of suit. The fact that his hand is now as large as his head makes it look powerful, which reinforces the way the he is marveling at it. Nice work.

very clean style, though I strongly recommend adding more color variation between the forground and BG to help seperate them and make it not look too flat.
post more!

Thanks for your help. I need to work on everything, perspective, anatomy and especially color. My problem is, when I paint, I can't visualize other colors. The far hand does look too big, I do need more colors and the perspective on the torso doesn't match from top to bottom. I will work on those things and remember them for the next piece. I will post more too, and get better. >:D

no big deal about color!! Heres a tip: once youve completed your image, in photoshop add a new layer above other layer(s) and change blending mode to "color" Now just chose which color you want something to be and with the paintbrush tool paint where you want. But I suggest using a LOW OPACITY because this mode will over saturate things quite quickly!
So Give it a try and check out this paint tutorial I did that may or maynot help you.
