Look at the car you want to draw then just apply theyre technique. They obviously apply big wheels, 2/3ds the height of the whole vehicle. Obviously the bumper area gets extended for this, draw a large skewed ellipse of the front wheel, black line around with simple lines for 'big rims'. Squeeze the car horizontally, the side should be about the same lenght as the front. Just what you observe basically, easy enough to do. Pick a car then do it a few times, keep correcting yourself on new versions where you think its wrong. After 10 you should have something pretty good, then just apply colours with pure white highlights, theyve used 4 colours but use 3 cleverly and its easier. looks cleaner too. So white, light colour, dark colour then black for vent holes etc.
At gas mark 7 for 15-20 mins and your done.

I always find the best way to get advice on a particular style of drawing is to go straight to the source, the artist....me :teeth:
I'm flattered you've chosen my style to replicate so I thought it only fair to offer some advice.
I've only been doing these drawing for about 4 years, and still have much to learn myself. I have deleted a lot of earlier images from my Gallery as I felt they were no longer up to standard, more will probably follow as I improve.
Unlike yourself, I am heavily into cars and get a good feeling for the subject, as a Landscape artist is passionate about his subject. This helps a lot I feel.
There are certain cars which are MUCH easier to draw than others. If you're struggling then please email me and I'll try to help. dave@carartz.com
