The Hunt was successful!!! We learned Friday, November 19, 2004 that an extremely talented artist has accepted our offer of employment!!! We are excited that he will be joining our team!!!

We couldn't have found such incredible talent without such a great site! I have already recommended this site to another game developer!

Thanks to everyone who responded to the job posting! May everyone find great opportunities!

Again, on behalf of everyone at Paradigm Entertainment, Inc. - Thanks and great success to all!

Earlier post:

Paradigm Entertainment just finished Terminator 3: Redemption (www.atari.com/terminator)and we are on the HUNT!!!

We need a Concept Artist to work with us on new projects! Use your exceptional talent to visually convey the Designer's story thru pictures! As the Concept Artist, you put the Game Designer's ideas into a visual medium! You will use your traditional hand drawing and painting skills to create the first images of humans, objects, weapons, vehicles, environments/landscapes, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
Produce creative and powerful concepts while adhering to direction and design constraints.
Command a very diverse range of styles, techniques and subject matter - create compeling and original designs for props, interiors, landscapes, creatures, and characters across a wide spectrum of settings, styles and time periods.
2D and 3D experience is a plus!

This is a regular full-time gig working within our studio with the other team members. We provide benefits like health insurance and paid time off! Our studio is located in a suburb of Dallas, yes, that's Texas!

Holler at us if you have submissions and/or questions at recruiting@pe-i.com. We will also be checking this site as well!

Recruiting,

I have allready sent in an email to you, along with my resume. But I thought I would also state my interest here in the thread you started, and tell you some about me. I am a 6yr veteran of the game industry, that has worked with the likes of Redstorm, Irock, Sony Online Entertainment, and up until recently Nervesoftware here in the Dallas area. You may find my work at http://www.bbriley.com/flash/index.html and unfortunately I am not able to show my most recent work on the website, as they are still working on their game. I am able to do concept, modeling (low and high poly), and texturing, also please note that I have worked with the next gen engine (Doom 3).
If there is anything further that I might be able to provide, please do not hesitate to ask, and thank you in advance for taking the time to review my work.

Sincerely:

BrileyPS

P.S: Again, just to make sure... I am allready in the Dallas area:)

I sent a response to your recruiting email address, but I thought in addition I would post some info here. I'm an illustrator and graphic designer with many years experience in games. I've done hundreds of illustrations for roleplaying games, and at Holistic Design, I art directed the "Fading Suns" universe throughout its many incarnations in pen-and-paper roleplaying books, to table top miniatures, and to PC games such as the classic Emperor of the Fading Suns strategy game and Fading Suns: Noble Armada. You can check out some samples of my recent work at my website: Red Crow Studio (http://www.redcrowstudio.net)
