Trolls, trolls, trolls. Crits wanted.

Alrighty then. Been doing alot of illustration/concept work for my DnD campaign, and I've decided to post a few trolls.

The trolls in my campaign world are basically homages (read: ripoffs) of Warcraft trolls, as far as appearance and such goes. This is good for me, since I LOVE drawing Warcraft trolls. :D

Anyway, you'll notice (i think, anyway...i do) a fairly vast difference in quality between the last pic and the other two. I've been improving/understanding things more almost every day, literally speaking. So anyway...here we go.

A troll standing upright. WOW. This would be a jungle troll (I know, you cant tell the difference...but trust me on this ;D) sentry of some sort.

A troll berserker. My troll Berserkers are basically exceptionally buff trolls who have some spellcasting ability; they use various voodoo elixers and such to make them fucking crazy and numb, etc. This is by far my favorite drawing, possibly ever. (by me, that is.)



Crits are welcome and wanted; I'd like to take whatever comments anybody can offer. I always remember them.

Hey Mark_li...these look really cool. I like how you have captured the expression and anger of how I imagined a troll berserker. My only crit would be the anatomy...I'm not sure what it is exactly but I think the way the muscles are interacting with each other seems a bit off. And some of the poses look a little off. Keep pushing man...these have a lot of life in them...the more refined you get the more effective your sketches will be. Good job. Way better than anything that I can achieve at this point.

Infact, the WarcraftIII art book was the very first art book I ever bought! I love the early character sketches of both the Trolls and the Undead.:evilbat:
