I've hunted throught the daily sketchbooks section checking out all the work you have all done. I really like how you also use the sketchbook section as a kind of showcase of your work. If I want to start taking part more in this forum then I'll have to have something similar, well why don't I just do the same as everyone else... maybe It'll even get me sketching more, or at least scanning more of it? anyway here's my first batch

Just wondering, but have you ever checked out http://www.saveloomis.org ? It suggest you do if you haven't. Off to a good start, certainly. I would suggest you practice drawing/rendering simple objects like boxes and cylinders etc. more. It's surprising how many artists skip this step altogether, even I did. I hope to see more from you soon, good luck.

I've been reading some good books on art/illustration/drawing hopefully they will help kickstart my drawing drive. I just need to make some time, I've got a big day job project do next at the end of the month and that will eat most of my time for the next week, but I still want to do some sketching.
Be back soon,
marcelo

HI gang; I've just.... oh damn it. Just look. I've been crazy @ home... I wanted to try and jump into the last COW, but I couldn't get the colour down... it all looked like ass. I need to practice more with the wacom colouring stuff, but I've only used it for like 3 hours in the last 6 months... (suck I know.)
BUT I can still whip that pencil a little. Here is the COW sketch.

Enjoy it.
I'll try and do more sketching/drawings to get this sketchbook thread on track again, not to mention myself! I may give the CHOW a try and see what cyan comes out.
