Ok, I decided in honor of opening my sketchbook id do a few quick drawings... One was a study of lips from a book. HEads and Figures in pencil by walter foster and another was just a sketch of somthing from my head.

Used the wrong compresson on this one so it crap and it looks bad. I am currently testing out differnt ways of drawing to see what fits me best. This was using boxes and shapes to map out the sketc

These lips were done in a more outline fashion. Edge by edge line by line until it makes the form you want then do minor shading to get the 3d effect.
Remember, Ive only done like 20 or so drawinsg in my life so if it sucks say so. I would love as much criticizem as IU can get (im kind of a little nervous posting these...) so post ideas, tips, websites... ANything that can help me. Im particularly looking for help in learning body anatomy and the ability to consitantly draw the same character over and over (Essential for a 3d model artist)
Note these are all done on my Tablet PC with ALias Sketchbook pro
