Hey guys, im really trying hard to hone my ability to draw the human anatomy (I wont post anything yet cause its just too horrible). Are there any sites or books (prefferabbly sites cause im short on cash) that I can look at for tutorials as well as subjects to sketch?
Im willing to learn if someone will help me, (sorry im just getting into art and this is all a little overwhelming) So yea, I hope you will all give me a little help.
Thanks in advance

Check the references section of the forums. There's alot of great pics there everything from poses to individual pieces of anatomy.

Getting into art by working on the "ability to draw the human anatomy" is a bad idea IMO.
Better start with simpler things. Not just simpler subjects.
Make sure you get proportions right in general. And that you can control line quality and line weight.
Stuff like that.
With that said ...
you might want to check out fineart.sk ... there are free books by Andrew Loomis.

And you can check out the assignments in the Academy (a link is in my Signature).
There is nothing about anatomy yet, though.
There are also some threads about book recommendations. Maybe you can go to a library?
I personally like Louise Gordon's books.

Yeah learn the basics first d00d.
Im not even gonna tell you where to get anatomy stuff, cause you need to learn the basics.
I would pick up a book about drawing for a beginner. or something. It is worth it, even check out your local library, they should have stuff.
Good luck. Don't expect to get good to fast.
