I was wondering if any one here has shelled out the clams for the Gonomon DVDs and if they think they where worth the big bucks? im rather intrested in
Feng ZHU's DvDs on concept design. I was wondering just how long they where and what they cover in in more detail.

I have 7 of them... I've watched them all and they are very good. I have the 4 Concept Design DVD from FEng + his FIghting Robots DVD, and a Hi Tech painting by Ryan Church and a James Clyne Environment Design... I learned alot from them..

I have the texturing 7 one and the maquette building one. Both equally as helpful and useful

I'm presently looking for the digital painting one, vol 2 by Neville.

I think they're worth the money. I got four of Ryan Church's, and learned more about atmosphere and lighting than I did in two years at school (not knockin' my school, just didn't learn that). Heavily recommend them.

As for Feng, I sort of worked with him when he was at NC Soft. He's a really good teacher, I learned a lot from him. I'm sure his dvd's would be well worth the price.

I don't know how long Feng's are, but Church's were about 2 hours a piece.
