Hello everyone.....I was super inspired to draw after attending the Austin workshop so here are the beginings of my sketchbook...it's been a while since i've drawn....I've been finshing school and doing all the 3D stuff...so please forgive the poop work! My main concern is being able to draw from memory and just trying to keep a sketchbook for the hell of it...so i've been drawing almost everyday since the workshop to up my skills...

woohoo!! you finally got your work up... congrats! :D It's looking really great so far.. I'm really intrigued by the fish transition piece... very cool :) I'd love to see more shading in these... sort of like you've started with this last one with the skinny, scary woman! Awesome work.... :)

i like the female near the top of the page, the one with the corset-ish top on. Nice pose. And the pic of the guy lying down playing nintendo/playstation - is that ur bf? hehe - and the shitty little slutty club girl...paint that too - how slutty was she? :)

these are really really cool, Lidia! You just have some crazy linework... it's great! I think this last set is very interesting with the variations in your line.... they go from super soft to hard, dark edges all in the same piece.

Oh, and I also loved the Queen of Narnia pic... nice! :^^:

Hey Lydia! Was great meeting you, sf was good times. I think I learned more artistic technique from the lovely paintings that hung in our room than anything else, oh yes. :nohope:

I really liked the idea you had with the environments inside the women, that was crazy! It's be cool to see one or more of those fully rendered, especially after seeing your environment portfolio. Also your prismacolor stuff is fun, and I can definitely see you in the self portraits! The oil sketch of your boyfriend is really great.

i think your material gets better and better with every post. that queen of narnia is very entrancing. honestly, i like the graphite peices youve desplayed, and would like to see more of those. keep up the work.
