Good work. Looks like it could be an intro movie for a game.

3D plays a lesser role on these forums than 2D, so maybe you should ask for crits in the 3D forum(yeah, I know it's rather slow...)or go to some place like CGTalk and get crits there. But they'll probably want you to post some wireframe and stuff. Some larger images wouldn't hurt either.

I don't really have a first clue in 3D, but to me this looks nice. :)

I know that there's not much 3d on these boards, aside from the using 3D as concept art forum. I've found though that I get better crits on images ( composition, lighting... ) here in 2D land than on all 3D all the time boards.
My background is in 2D anyway, most of my posts are 2D. I just think of 3D as an extension of that. So, I apoligise for the post , but I feel drawn ( no pun intended ) here.

Since you live in Philly it'll be ( all 30 mins. of it ) premeiring in a venue near you sometime next year. ( hopefully )

That speed painting is awesome! I will go see the movie if it premieres in a venue near me. I am an aspiring filmmaker so there a bunch of places in philly you could probably get it screened...lemme know when it is finished or whatever and maybe I can look up some stuff and get you into some...I know a few offhand that you could probably screen your stuff in. Great work.

I am new to this as well and I would have to dig deeper but here are a few places:

Hope that helps...would take me a little longer to find the info for the other places. Most of it is film festival stuff and limited screenings. I will have to dig for my own purposes over the next 6 months but film.org is the place to get all the philly contact info you need...if it isn't on there...then someone on there can help you.
