Hello everybody!
I've been on here a little while, and I have tried PS using a mouse.
And well, I think it would be easier just to buy a wacom, I notice most of the people here use them.
So my question is, where should I buy one?
Do any stores sell them? Or, do I have to order one off the net?
And, what's a fairly cheep, but a good wacom?
Thanks,
BLADES

I got mine off of the Corel website. It came bundled with Painter 8, dunno if you need that...but i needed some "legal" software.

go to tristatecamera.com. I bought my wacom intuos 2 there for like 420 dolars about 2 years ago when everywhere else was selling it for 500. I also just a bought a 1300 dollar lens from there for only 1100. That place has amazing deals and its all legit stuff too. good luck!

btw, you get what you pay for. If you want a wacom, pay for one - dont get a cheap substitute. I did and i was pissed. THey are a lot but once you buy it youll fall in love and then it will seem cheap.
I recommend the intous2 6x9 for some who inst super serious. If you are gunna use it every single day, go for the 9x12. I have a 6x9 at work and a 9x12 at home.

Ok, I am assuming a wacom will work with PaintShop Pro 8, since you said you got a bundle deal with it. I have PaintShop Pro 8 already so can't really buy the bundle deal, I think I am just going to buy like a INTUOS II 6X8.
A simple yes or no will do for the PaintShop Pro 8 question.
Thanks guys,

Don't get confused:
JASC Paintshop Pro and COREL Painter 8 are 2 rather different products, in both utilization and price.
And yes, the tablet should work with PSP8.

eBay has Wacom stuff by the tons.
Just buy from someone with paypal buyer protection and you will have little or no risk.

Yeah it came with Painter 8, not Paint Shop Pro.

Like Christian said, check eBay for Wacom gear before you buy anywhere else. I needed a pad for my laptop a month or so back, and picked up a new 6x8 Intuos 2 at half the UK rrp. Definately worth a look.
Your Wacom will work fine with PSP 8. Pretty sure that Intuos 2's come bundled with Painter Classic too, so you'll have a choice of art packages!

So my question is, where should I buy one?Hi Blades... before you buy one, you may want to check PriceGrabber (http://www.pricegrabber.com) to see if you can get a good price somewhere else. Although, you need to be careful with buying from some of these online places. If you see a good price on PriceGrabber, check out the seller's background on Reseller Ratings (http://resellerratings.com) to make sure they're legit. And, as someone else suggested... there's always eBay.
