some sketches i've done for a project lately. this is going to be an animated (3d) toon character leading through some cg-videos (also 3d graphics) done by the guys who i work for (my internship ends in a week).

he will pop up here and there, leaving a comment or doing some trick-stuff. the sketches were done for working out some expressions, the character is meant to be a bulb or at least bulb-like, in case you wonder what the heck this is meant to be. i also modeled a head in clay for defining the features/details.

had a lot of problems with the expressions. at least i got to understand that doing toon and animation stuff is a lot more difficult than expected. i bow to all animators out there.

You did a great job on those model sheets! I've only tried to copy some yet and know how difficult it is to achieve the expressions you are looking for. I especially like the "content" (zufrieden) one!
