my first total painter piece..

Im really wet behind the ears when it comes to any kind of coloring and so I finally went ahead and gave it a shot (never did a pic totally in painter). Im having problems and dont know if i should just bag it....Ive learned a bunch from it though...commments crits and flat out slams are more than welcome! (Not even close to done):

"Dont know if I should bag it"???? If you so much as touch that, ill find you, and make you pay. :) Thats amazing. Great Concept, great colors. The robes could look a little more fluid maybe, a little softer. Great for a first try. I cant seem to get the hang of painter yet. Very frustrating. What brushes did you use?

Great job for a first timer. I've never really used Painter, just Photoshop some.

I was thinking Skeksis too (from Dark Crystal)—any inspiration from that or just coincidence? Is there a story for the character? Just wondering.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it! So I decided to finish it! Dark Crystal is one of my all time favs which made it easier to work on! Threw on my second attempt at painter. ( The cat one just posted it up top)
