Sorry another question. Our school is having some people from the art dept.
of our local game developer, Bioware, do a presentation for the students.

Because the students are often overwhelmed with information and are
a bit shy they don't generally ask many questions.

Would any one here have any suggestions for questions that might
help better inform the students about this industry, questions you
would ask if you were at a presentation featuring concept artists.

I'll quickly rattle off what first comes to mind and will add more soon -
Make them ask "What would you like to see in a portfolio/demo for a (insert position here) position ?" and don't forget "What you DON'T want to see in a portfolio/demo ?". We get way too many demos and presentations that don't last 10 seconds and end up in the dead box here. :(

They shouldn't feel overwhelmed with information.. but suck it in like a sponge and learn to pick up the most important and pertinent stuff :)
