Hi, my names Alex Gonzales and im currently attending art center in pasadena.
I want to do concept work for video games.

You are at a level beyond my ability to criqtique you.. That and I dont know much if anything about your style.

Its is very asthetically pleasing.. Altho Im not sure whats going on. any stories behind them so we can appreciate certain details better?

The first one is a thrown room, an empresses thrown room
its supposed to be a long vertical pan of this room,

the horsemen in the center coming from above, reprsent the armies of darkness conquest over humanity, and at the bottom is the empress in slumber, looks sweet and tender, but in reality is the darkest coldest force ever.

The next one illustrates this fortress, and how it came to be it grew out of a small chapel and grew up into the sky like a bean stalk.

The smaller one of the side is of a giant sorcapahgous??spelling??
this is where the evil empress sleeps, like and egyptian coffin but giagantic in scale.
if you look closely you can see a path leading into her head, thats how u get into the sleeping chamber

The last is a creature that inhabits the lands outside the fortress, it is like an arangatang meets cameleon meets plant.

The two long ones are acrylic and are about 44 inches tall
The tomb is digital
and the creature is a pencil drawing modified in photoshop

ALEX! Good to see you here man! It's Daniel from Background Painting. I still have no crits as I loved these from the first time I saw them. You should post some details to show people what kind of work you put into them as these little photos do not do them justice! Once again, beautiful beautiful work man!
