I'm only starting to use max or any 3d package for that matter. I find modeling to be really interesting but can't find some GOOD low poly modeling tutorials out there. There seems to be a few different schools of thinking when it comes to the subject. I'm curious to know what you guys would recommend. Links, books, authors,... ?
In the meantime, here's a thing I've been practicing with. It has too many polys to my taste, but it's a start I guess...

Don't pay too much attention to the texture !

P.S.: I mapped the mouth and eye on a different texture in order to do texture animation such as lip synching and stuff like that. The only way I found to do some easy texture swapping animation is to use .IFLs. What other techniques are out there ?
