Im a big fan of Glen Keanes work(disney animator) an did this rough painting of Tarzan ,one of keanes latest work...Its totally improvised and i used no photo refs nor did i use a tablet ...turn out quite nice in the end..
about 20 mins to do.

geez thats a moody pic, beautiful work Rusty, love the texture on his skin, the outline, or the back lighting behind his hair makes him look like he is wearing a hood, or a rain coat or something~

Hey Rusty...this looks great man. Thought you would be interested...my father-in-law is a really good friend of Glen's...they went out together and he was drawing the beast on a napkin for them and stuff hehe...he's a really cool and nice guy. At any rate the painting looks awesome.
