I'm thinking about building my own drawing horse for home use. I found information on how to build one (http://www.eddiepittman.com/drawing-horse.html) but I still have one question. How is a drawing horse typically used? In my art class we stand the horse up and draw while we also stand up. But are there times when you want to be sitting down on the horse and propping your drawing board onto the cleat on the bench? Also, when the the drawing horse is stood up, should it be slightly angled towards you or should it be flat?
