I'm surprised you've only found 10. You're likely to get at least 20 different opinions here. There's only one opinion that really matters with something as personal as selecting an anatomy book, though. Mine. Okay, maybe it's yours, but I know it's one of ours.
I picked books from artisits I like and ones that were a bit different from the way I drew at the time. I don't like Hogarth because it was far too much like a comic book (which is how I learned to draw people). I really like Bridgeman. He's a bit rougher, but does a nice job of putting life in his figures. I like Civardi, though some of his stuff isn't quite as explicit. He is far closer to realism, which is what I still need. There is also a pretty good one with live people (who are absolutely ripped) along with anatomical explanations that seems really good. You should still be able to get Loomis online, too. He's out of print, but the downloads are good. Bottom line if you can only get one right now: pick one from an artist you like. If it can teach and motivate at the same time, good on ya. Be certain to master anatomy. Then you can have your pudding.

i like hogarth, i have 2 of his books. the way he emphasizes the muscles and renders them is really good for teaching you how to draw certain parts of the body, because alot of normal anatomy books dont shade the muscles alot and therefore making it very unclear what to draw. its true that the images are somewhat stylized in a comic book-y fashion, but to me that only makes the images more clear. you need to be able to tell the difference between the style and what youre actually supposed to draw though
