You know how you look at something for so long and you just can't seem to be objective about it? Well I'm working on this 30's pinup like image and I've had that happen. I know it's hard to comment on something that is incomplete, but is the head the right proportions? I keep thinking it looks wrong. Plus sometimes I think it looks a little too manly. Anyway any suggestions appreciated.

He face seems a little stretched out or skewed to the upper right. Like its being pulled that way. Try centering it a little more. Lookin good tohugh :)

thanks Blue!
you are right. I think the hairline also adds to that skewed look.
I'll work on it thanks.

Maybe you’re getting the manly impression because the slightly raised shoulders of the pose are squaring her off a bit??? It didn’t look like a problem to me. If the manly issue keeps coming up for you while you’re working on it, maybe consider throwing in a good set of legs. The longer picture would let us see one of her hands too (it kind of seems like they’re hiding right now).

Lookin‘ good,

-Andrew

Yeah it is the shoulders that have been bugging me. I think maybe they are too wide?
Not trying to hide anything. That was just a detail. Just wasn't concerned about the rest of the image, and I'm still working on it so not really where I want it to go yet. Wasn't really ready to show it, but this is the general idea.

Looks good to me. I think the shoulders are fine. Even the skewing of the face is not all that noticeable. A suggestion (and a pretty subjective one at that) is to give her a sexier, more beautiful face, considering her getup and all. That'll turn the manly factor all the way down ;)
