first time poster ... lifetime sketcher.

as you will see, i'm a huge fan of star wars and anything/everything related to the universe george lucas has created.
;)

i also like to draw in my free time (whenever that is), and i've decided to share a sketch i did for a character i've created. although, after looking at some of the other sketches around here, i don't know how good it really is. it doesn't have the dynamic feel i would like, and feels VERY rough ... then again, we ARE our own worst critics, right?

so, without further adieu, i give you ...

and and all comments/criticisms are welcome. thanks in advance.

like:

clothing detail
forearm plate

dislike:

belt position
the forearm (on my left) its too big
his shirt (throws off direction)

thanks for your comments.
:chug:

it's funny too, you like the clothing detail, and yet that is the part of the drawing i dislike the most. go figure. the forearm on the left (HIS right) is actually clothed, which is why it looks bigger than his left one, which is bare. i guess a rendered version of the image would help differentiate this.

thanks again, mc_delroy ... any and all comments and suggestions for improvement from everybody are more than welcome.

I like it all in all..

But simply holding the lightsaber activated in that mundane pose and at that boring horizontal angle.. is kinda .. waste of lightsaber!

and yes, color it!!! go for it dude.

that mundane pose
heheh, my thoughts exactly. one of the hardest things for me is making dynamic/action poses, but i AM working on it. i hope to come out with a series of pics of this guy in different poses ... if time will allow.

now where did i put my cloning machine??

thanks for the comments ... glad you like it.
