Has anyone come across the series of Pose File books. I believe they run from edition 1-12. I have 2 and 7 and they kick ass as far as being a good reference for poses. A tad on the expensive side...but they do not have any text in them, merely poses - hundreds of them. They are all in Japanese btw.
If you can find a link to a place that sells these I would greatly appreciate it :)
oh and btw here is a general example of one (#5):

Hmmm... Bud Plant used to carry them... but when I last checked there, they only have the new PoseFiles:
I have three of the older books and two of the newer ones. They are OK--but I like to have more details in my photo ref--and as with all reference, it's almost but not quite what I'm looking for... Still, these have been welcome reference books for tons of illustrators for years.
I like the new series, though--larger, sharper photos, less of them, though. But good poses and costumes and props...
