Ok, so I looked at the United Kingdom Artist Group, but everyone is english and pretty much from london(which sucks for me), in which case I thought it might as well be called the English group. Anyway, I thought creating a Scotland thread would b good, cos we are rare on this forum, and we should all unite! Only me and Ceenda I know of so far!

i was just reading the UK thread and it seems most are in southern england, i didnt like it down there, the pubs close on the same day they open....

if anyone reads this and knows, what are the edinburgh art college summer classes like? i'm thinking of booking them for this summer probably life drawing and portrait painting if money allows.

also, if we can scrape together enough people, we could have a sketch-meet some time, that said i'm a bit drunk and bored on a saturday night:p

Well i doubt ill be going back to the ECA anytime soon seeing as they didnt let me in last year the wee pretencious arses that they are lol.

A meet would be cool, but it would have to be about 10 ppl or so at least lol.

yeah i've heard that if you're not weird/smelly/rich enough they wont entertain you :-p and they seem to cultivate nonesense stuff alongside some really very good art, keep trying man.

poor turnout for scotland so far though but we'll wait....

Hehe, i wont be trying there again, fook em, i mean what can i say, Im a piltoner and I had a 0 skinhead at my interview, But I did have a rock solid portfolio, so fuck them lol! So all i can say to them is that im gonna start my own business and giv em the fingers when I get successful! :D

Oh and I saw last years degree show, and only 3 out of about 10-15 illustration students were any good, the other stuff was just utter bollocks that a 2 year old kid could do.

would be great to have a meet anywhere. i'm just outside motherwell at the moment, moving to dundee at the end of summer. glasgow or edinburgh would be cool if we can get a decent number.

Hello Scottish folk!!!

I was a lil surprised to see this here, since there is a UK thread and all -
anyhoo -It would be cool to see more folk from the farthest regions join in. Your right about us southeners, there is quite a few, but we do have some folk from Wales.

I do hope you guys can encourage your friends and colleagues to visit and partake.
