Snowwalker and ogre kicker

Hey, Sketchpad work I'm considering finishing. For the one on the bottom, I want to color it, yet preserve the line quality. I'm trying to find a happy medium between the two in photoshop. I'de appreciate any suggestions.

The face in the first sketch is distorted, also the shoulder parts are off...

I agree with fozy. It reminds me of something along the style of phil hale's paintings. If only it was colored....*hint*;)
