Hey everyone,
Here are some more sketches, they are of punk animal bits....I'm still working on them, but here they are for now ! C&C welcome, thanks!

P.S. And a batboy...he's kind of hanging off this doorway, and it's really messy at the moment, cause I wasn't sure about the background, and at one point I was thinking of just adding doorknob designs, but I didn't want to anymore ,so thankfully there is a friend called the eraser tool..... ;)

P.P.S. I will try to color them soon....

i really like your style, but without color, it seems as though there might be too much detail, so its kind of hard to distinguish one thing from the next. but awesome drawings. I think it will help if you do paint them. :)

I agree with what Andrew said to one of your previous posts...I find enjoyment searching the forms to find the details that you have so painstakingly put in...talk about keeping your pencil sharp hehe. The detail in these is well rendered...about how long does one of these pieces take you from start to finish?

"Holy massive amount of details, Batman!!"
:D
You definitely have a very unique style.
I agree; you should colour at least the first and maybe the second one.
In the first one, I had a bit of trouble seeing what was what. I didn't see that it's....uhm...behind was facing me at first, and had to concentrate. I see it now of course, but that piece especially would benefit from some colours. Would be easier to make out.
The creature one would also be cool in colour, but doesn't need it that much. And the last is maybe best without colours, actually.
All in my opinion of course. :)
Nice work, all of it.

hummmm  very nice style and very clean. That's very good. Others artists make a lot sketches so ugly and dirty.
I love your Style :)

You're back - these are wicked. You have such a nice grasp of line variation, I wish I did when I was 20!!
Anyway, the animal ideas are hilarious. But you know, my complaint is still that here and there things get a little muddled and complicated in your lines.
But overall, really well done.
I have a question: Are these just concepts you're coming up with on your own, or are you doing them for a class/with other people? Way to keep your imagination fired up!

Hey guys,
Thanks a bunch! ;)
MindCAndyMan : It depends on what I'm doing, but if I know what I'm doing ( which isn't very often), it can take from 3-9 hours, but depends on how much detail I want to put on them and it also depends on the paper size.
Kress: The concepts are of my own, and I hope to do some more! :)
When I FINALLY get me hands on a photoshop program, I will color, and I hope it will be soon, cause I'm going to eXpLoDe.....technicolor spew.

I have to admit...my heart rate increases when I see that FrailFreak has posted some new sketch work. This stuff is just classic. Great, great work! Thanks so much for posting.
Can you let us in on your inspiration? Your thought process when approaching a piece and what you have in mind when you sit down? Of course, the look implies that you just kind of "let go" and work the piece to fit your creative impulses. If so...I gotta' know what your art background is, who you've studied, who your favorites are! Nice work, can't wait to see the colored pieces!

your 'punk porcupine' looks like one of the "Magic" creatures art...i'm not sure about the name of the card...

Hey guys,
Thanks!
Smeagol : Thank you! My inspiration? It depends, it's pretty much...whatever strikes me at the moment,or depending on my mood, but most of it is from life..bits of here and there.....whatever is around me or..yeah..whatever I feel at the moment, yes, and like you said,it's like I "let go"....When I do a piece, depending on what I'm going to draw, I'll place a different emphasis on what I'm doing the subject ...sometimes I'll place more stress on the emotion,or design or whatever ,but whatever suits the purpose. I'm pretty much self taught,I attend an art college now,and studying toy design . I have loads of favorites artists, stuff from old illustrators,to anime, nouveau, you guys.... ;)
Lono: Thanks, but I still have to wait till school starts :)

 wonderful line quality, kept me busy for a long time hunting for witty details. Colour by all means, but I still like them pure like this as well.
