just curious, if a Painter file is going to be printed say, 5 by 5 inches in a magazine, do you make your file size 5 by 5 (at 300ppi) also? I'm coming from the old school traditional illustrator angle where the original is usually done like a third larger than the printed size to tighten up in the reduction... just don't know if there is any advantage to doing that digitally.
