Will you make this one in Illustrator as you did with some td-entries...i think you are stronger in finishing them with illustrator..they a way better in quality than your sketches...

You are the Illustrator-Concept-Artist on this forum for me....

I would love to see it then...

Thanks for the kind words Fozzy.

Yeah, I am planning on taking this into Illustrator. I have a few other elements I need to work out before I do that. The Elf is going to be casting a waterbased elemental spell so I need to get that all designed.

My wife is a hardcore gamer and plays this character. She plays Everquest but is ready to retire or at least quit playing so much but asked me to commemorate the experience (LOL! sounds funny) with an illustration. So that is what this is for. I figure I can always use another fantasy piece in my portfolio so I figure what the hell. I'll do it.

I am pretty excited about this and have a lot of ideas for the finished piece I want to try out. Hopefully you'll see it soon.

Well, I should have put this into the WIP forum but I'll include the colored version of this picture into this post.. I still have a bit of work to do before this is finished but I colored the elf today:

Edit: I worked a bit more on this... just swapped out pictures.

Aahhh...i love your coloring style, oglzogl! Though this one is not as good as the other ones i saw yet...

I don't like her face...not in the artistic way it's more my personal taste...she looks so severe and male...

Thanks fozzy :)

Hopefully I get the image perfected..

You know, my wife says the same thing about my faces. And, to be honest, I've thought it too. Although I am a fun loving guy (maybe?) it really isn't reflected in my artwork. Most of the time my people are serious... I also tend to really like strong lighting and I tend to use a lot of lines and this is especially hard for me to do on women while keeping them feminine. You are right, it makes them look a bit too harsh. They should be soft...

I just really like lighting and angles. Oh well, something for me to work on..
