kick ass, snowfly... i *love* it
and i think you captured all four of the characters very well. especially richard (it looks mucho like gaiman.. and thas just how i saw him).
i have a quick doodle of islington... done with the oekaki program.. not as detailed as these.. but ill post it on the thread if you want/dont mind
btw, i dont know how easy it would be... but, i think gaiman would appreciate seeing this.
*EDIT* forgot to give you some GRITZ
richard's hands and shoes.. could use some more detail.. make them look not as smudgy...
thas all i got.

zeit: thanks buddy! go ahead, i'd love to see your rendition of islington. vague man-ness/woman-ness and everything.
yep i guess it could use a little more work overall, but i have a hands-off policy on this painting now..after 20 hours of work..ugh!
freddy: LOL hi freddy :bash:

Have you seen the Neverwhere TV-series? They made six episodes and I think they are about 45 minutes each (maybe less), and I think it's a BBC production.
Anyway, I downloaded the series from the Internet (mmh, that's was a bit cool, eh :)) as I live in Sweden and I don't think they'll send that here.
It's pretty good, well, some things suck but overall it was pretty cool. Find it, see it and maybe that inspire some more Neverwhere imagines.
I'd like to see a picture of the "other guys", erh, the Bad guys (I did not include the names as that might spoil the reading/watching for others)
To the pic....
Nice rendering of the light.¨
I think Matthew got a little short legs, but that might be harder to fix. Well, give the legs and shoes and hands a little more time and you got a really great pic.
BTW, is Hunter holding a staff or a spear is your image? On the sketch it's a spear, on the coloured image it looks more like a staff. I think it would look nice with a shiny, lightreflecting spearhead, in the top left corner.
Mh, I'll shut up now. Nice picture

zeit: hey, interesting take on islington. i like the way you stylized it a lot. i think you got the face down, it really looks sexless, but attractive enough.. regarding islington's role in the story tho, the red sleeves are a bit of a giveaway, don't you think? (you know what i mean.. ) ;)
really enjoyed that one, post more if you have em!
gallon: no, but i've heard of it. still trying to track it down tho..i live in the philippines, and we don't get a lot of subculture tv. so envious of you for having seen it... do you know if there are DVDs?
thanks for the crits, tho i think it'll take a lot more than fixing up richard to make it a great pic :D hunters thing was intended to be a spear but i got lazy....didn't really feel confident with this painting in general, and i think it shows.
anyways, here's a quick one i did today, misters croup and vandemar. scene: first encounter with richard, mr. vandemar with his "pleasant" face on. heheh
i forget what animals they were alluded to, was it a bird and a wolf?
