This idea was born as jason asked what new things we can do to improve conceptart...
The idea:
We'll define a subject for an image. Then a member starts off with the painting, but he may draw only one element...like a character, a creature, part of the environment, light, objects, vehicles, anything he wants to. After this he puts the psd-file on and another member continues with the same restrictions until the coop-image is finished...finished...FINISHED, hahahahaha!!!! FINALLY!!!
...errrr...Afterwards the whole community can discuss which parts were helpful for getting the subject-goal and which one were not so good, and why etc...so everyone can comment his intention and idea...
The goals are:
- A growing community with a better cooperation
- Learning by each other during the process and the discussion afterwards
- Pushing an image to the subject-goal together
- Having fun
AND NOW I'LL START THE FIRST COOP-IMAGE OF CONCEPTART.ORG
Subject: The Assassination
My idea: I drew a creature (obviously the assassin), which is on the run. It hurt or killed someone (important? rich?) and jumps over something (a rock? a chair? a bisexual badger?)...the rest is totally up to YOU!!!
Add the victim, the chasers, the room, the forest, another assassin, a vulcano, a topee, a date-expired candy bar, your selfportrait...anything YOU WANT!
Just a few limitations to your endless imagination:
- think of the space other users will need for their parts
- think of the subject-goal
This is just a jpeg to show the image in the forum.
The original file is a psd and 1024x768.
USE THE PSD TO CONTINUE WITH THE COOP-IMAGE (there is one layer for each member, who joined, named with the added part and his nick):

The assassin.
A night-blue, athletic body, designed for running fast and working incognito, a sensor on his head, six eyes for seeing better and more than his victims, a special bracelet/gauntlet-weapon, which is filled with poison
The next member, who wants to join in, should post a note, that he is working on the psd, so we can avoid parallel wips...and if you declared that you are working on the pic please hurry, and put the jpeg and the psd-link on. Don't forget a description of your intention, why you added your part in this way you did :D
