Okey dokey. I've been running a daily sketch book for eight months now.. but due to lack of visitors there I will be posting here whenever I need crits :) Great to have this kind of section
Now then... Here is a sketch I'm awfully happy (up to a certain mark) with. Is there anything horribly wrong with it or my current drawing "way"?
Well, without further delay.. The picture:

The main thing that stands out to me is the anatomy seems a bit off. Were you drawing from a posed person? And the right hand (the one sticking out of the box) needs some more definition.
Now the idea of having an illustration escape its boundaries (the box) is somethign that I enjoy, but my main question here is that the box outline and the arm (in particular) seem to merge together by the lines exposing both. I'd like to see the arm being the border or the border behind the arm (but the latter might not make visual sense, as its on the other side of the body which is cut off by the box)...
But that's my two cents. I'm still learning anatomy myself.

I like the face, it has a nice fresh look. And good job for drawing the hand at that angle with the knuckles showing.
I would say generally that the torso is too small for the body. It needs to be wider and longer. The torso/shoulder area needs to have a stronger underlying structure and the shirt needs more realistic wrinkles.
Keep it up. I think the composition is working pretty well.

Your heads too big, simply put. The shoulders and neck are too feeble to really support it and the tilted back head makes it look like that. Might just be me, also the adams apple is ubleievably huge. Try using a ref, or even one of those posable mannequins might help. Your torso is way too small youl notice that the elbows are generally reach the navel when they go straight down, the hand then aboot reaches half way down the upper leg. Try and fix those things, i think you could get away with it if you made the torso bigger but kept the arms and head. Study some hands, take a look at markos stuff he does the most awesome dynamic hands, he makes em look like a creature of there own. I think on the face you have followed the original guidline you drew a bit too much. The human face isnt acctuall the ovaldisk stuck to a sphere people useually draw. Try and find a skull to draw even if it is only a cast (I have a real one). If you go to an art store you can probably find a cast i suggest getting one of those. Then drawing it over and over again from diffrent angles. under diffrent lighting. That will show you how it acctually built up. Right now your concentrating too much on the features try and go more for value. but right now th nose and lips are too flat. I know its hard but you have to make it pop out more. Hope that helped.

Great comments :)
Catryn : Yea, I see what you mean now. At the time I thought it'd be cool to see it overlap. :) I see your point about the anatomy and I agree now that I look back on it. Will need to study more. Thanks for your comment :)
Emily G : Yeah, the torso is too small... Will make it bigger next time. The hand took a lot of retrys :P
Red_Rook : I agree with that. As soon as I settle in in denmark I will start looking for a skull.
Thanks everybody for your comments.. They are valuable to me and have shown me what I need to work on. Priceless
