I was actually sick today and decided to sit down and experiment with a tutorial i saw on this site and my new wacom (which i went out and bought while i was sick). Here's the work in progress. Crits welcome! Oh and does anyone else have any sick artwork. Sick as in made while you were sick?

Its pretty well done except wouldnt her lightsabres emit light? i know you did this when you were sick so you probably didnt even notice it.

Also is she a sith or a jedi?

since her sabers are green and blue, i would say she is a jedi. FLCL00 is right about the light from the sabers tho, they should be lighting her frmo the bottom as well as creating a glow on what shes standing on.

haha, i love the women quote! I actually just got an email from my old roomate about the sabers. I am going to have to get back into it and fix it. I am still trying to work on the painting as a whole because this is the first time i have worked in this style. It is a lot loser than my normal paintings. Thanks for the advice.

Jedi is right! I have another painting i worked on during the day that took way too lont and she is sith. She has an eye patch like a pirate and weird markings on her face. I will post it tomorrow.

Everything in the first pic is awesomely done, but the green light saber looks like a pieace of stick, so maybe you could fix that one up.
In your second post, the jedi jumping is pretty cool, but the second pic is kind of weird.
haha, well you just got this program, so, pratice makes perfect. :btu:
