Heylo.. this is my 3rd painting and was never much of an artist in my free time b4 so im still rough , sketchy and nothin special but then again.. looking for fresh eyes, ideas, thoughts, and comments..

Anywho i just took this quick 1 min sketch of a combination of ideas embedded in memory of beatiful balcony's with a background of some luscious landscape or other.. I may be being a lil ambitious considering this is only like my 3rd digital.. but i figured atleast i'll learn alot and it'll keep my eager to try harder at adapting to the ways of the stylus pen..

this link will take you to the work in progress:

ok, finished the grass to my liking, darkened the sky but i'll still devote time to it and horizon objects later.. started the other cliff with the same method as the first so when i read and implement advice and techinique from that tut or others i may find that i can kind of go bout the same way with it all.. next chance i get will go to those rock and the start of the waterfall, atleast until the drop, i dont want to add splash details til the rocks are where i like them.. anywho, suggestions and crits are highly appreciated, especially on the blue bowl and any others on the rocks. ty

well, I'm not really qualified to critique anything but the perspective seems off somehow. I can't put my finger on it though...Anyway, you're making great progress so keep on posting. :)

if u read this again sadclown, is it the jump from the balcony to the background.. or something on the right side, its partly due to the fact that the rocks suck and the ble bowl supporting the top balcony is done all wrong..

I think...and I really hope someone more experienced will jump in here and help you out. i think the background should be lower. it looks like we're looking down on the balcony and it just seems like that cliff should be just a big lower. I dunno though, I'm now a perspective expert, that's just the way it feels to me.

Come on people give this guy some replies and help him out!!!!!
