I shot the originals for these while backpacking through Europe in '95. Shown here are six shots, in order from Munich, Prague, Rome, Berlin (5 & 6) and Lisbon. The derelict army truck was shot in the former No-Go zone near Hitler's Bunker. The Riot Squad shot was from a protest rally outside the American Embassy in Berlin, something about a black-American reggae?? musician on death row. Sorry I couldn't spell his name correctly if I tried, so I'll leave it out for the time-being.

I liked the content and composition of these images, but wasn't that happy with them as straight prints. For that reason I've been experimenting with different post fx to see if I could come up with.

Interesting style of photography. It kinda follows the modern idea of the anti-asthetic. Do you mean things to be like that, or are you actually trying to go for some sort of astheticly pleasing look?
