I'm actually more of a painter/illustrator than a photographer, so maybe this is an odd first post, but here's some recent photo work from me. I use a Canon Rebel-G.

The pathway shot is beautiful, (if a bit overdone, but it's good practice) the shot of you and your brother is funky. :afro2: Where exactly were you guys while taking this picture? My mind wants to put it by water, but the only time I've seen a drop off like that underwater that close to the surface is at a hot spring. Is that where you were?

In the last shot, the angle twig and the upsweep of the clouds in the background make it a very mesmerising picture. The inclusion of more of the same color in the background also helps lead the eye around.

glad you like them! The shadowy shot was taken by a canal when we were out for a family walk...so pretty muddy murky wetlandish place. And I said "ooooh my shadow looks cool" so I took a picture....then my brother came over and agreed and we both took a picture
