So, I got to do a Logo Design for a liitle company, they do expert opinions for car accidents and generally car related stuff.
BUT i absolutely know nothing about abstract 2d design. so please help me, every comment is appriciated!
here`s the log so far, but it looks kinda 1950's to me....
any idea how i could make it more modern?
also, if sth is badly proportioned, please crit!

The two Rhombus shapes are disruptive imo. Try making the leading edges (right side) curved inwards, and the left edges a bit too.

In my opinion, the reason it looks old is because its sharp..make it rounder

Is it supposed to represent just a K? Or is it a hollow B, solid K, type design?

It's just a K.

I like logo A...
Combine the current one you have now, and close off the 2 parallel lines...see how that looks..

I think this is the most successful K. I think the yin-yangy circle is rather detracting from...really the whole logo. Maybe if you turned the circle on the outside to something more related to cars (like a quasi hubcap, steeringwheel) or something, in very simple form, it would look alot better and relate to the company.

I think you can probably get rid of the swirly things on the outside, just extend the legs of the K out and mask it out with a circle to create an implied circle. Make sense? I can show you what I mean later if you want, (I'm at work designing boring stuff :D). Just my 2 cents.

here's what I meant. The one on the left has an implied circle. The one on the right I just straightened things out. Just suggestions for variations, feel free to ignore them obviously ;)
