Master and Apprentice

Ok,
Ive been wondering if there are any master artists out there that still do the single, to a handfull of apprentices, type teaching. Also, would any of the pros here in this community ever consider doing something like that? What are your thoughts?

I asked this really great artist I knew about that, and he said he was thinking about doing it until he had triplets. doh!
