You gotta tight look towards your product shots. Really strong actually.
Nice to meet you.

Oldman: I'll update when I got new stuff that's worth showing. I don't want to bore you with old stuff.
Scotty: You're BluRR over there aren't you?
Phil: Haven't you been to the poo, too? I remember your tutorials.

Hi, Gent,
Great stuff! You should post more! :)
I'll update when I got new stuff that's worth showing.
I don't want to bore you with old stuff.
I don't think anybody can be bored looking at these ! :)
Do you use any other cameras besides Nikon D100?
I'm looking for some good model but I'm not a professional
photographer so I need something more simple.
I just want to snap some of my projects.
I'll be glad if you share your opinion. :)

I really like the shot glass with the sepia tone. It kind of puts me in the mind of looking at it while your head is on the table. Love pics that have a narritive to them. The headless man is just awesome. It makes me think of a twisted wine advertisement.
Alot of your shots tend to be commercial in nature, are you persuing this as a career?

Deco: Thanks a lot. I promise to update sometimes. Concerning the camera: Speaking from personal experience I strongly recommend you to use a manual film SLR first. I got a Minolta X300. They are very common in Germany. Pentax is pretty big in the US I think. You should be able to get one with a pretty nice lense like a 50/1.7 for less than 100 ?/$. I'd say buy in a shop, not on Ebay. Many people have been tricked there.
Why a film camera at first? Well... it's cheaper, image quality is better (at least than with any consumer digital, and just as good as DSLRs I'd say), you learn more, you have full manual control.
If you got one, you can learn it the hard way and use slide film. If you buy it in like 10 film packages, in here you can get the processing for free. That's way cheap. Shots you like you can still get printed and then scan.
Because slide film has to be exposed spot-on, you can see with every shot how to make your camera behave to get proper results. And last but not least, slide film is developed within 1 day in most cases. That makes it very fast.
Mateem: Thank you :) I'm not a professional - not yet. I'd like to study photodesign though. They really just SEEM professional. Thanks though.

Thanks a lot Gent!
This info is very useful for me! :)
I also prefer film cameras more than digital.
Besides that they are cheaper they seem to
me more reliable.

hi GEnt
The photos look damn cool... especially the glass in the sepia tone.....
and also the man with the no head looks good.... u have done a good editing work out there....
by the way do u really do any major alterations on the photo in photoshop to enhance them further????
I am in this doubt after seeing the headless man......

fundagenie: Thanks. No really big alterations. Editing mostly includes contrast/color changes. Sometimes using blending modes (like oberlay or soft/vivid/linear light). Nothing really fancy though, probably just the same as contrast and colour adjustments. The headless one is the only heavy altered image out there.
