awesome!, I get an impressionist feeling from this painting, it's realistic but also very trippy.

first that one "in your way to work", then "subway" and now... BOOM.

Question: - the reference seem like a picture taken behin a glass - am I right? I'll put my money on that rather then photoshop.
When you think that Justin works on Sport games... swicth to some adventure games division friend :D

Sorry to hear about the life mess - hang on - if you need anything... just drop me a line (i might have the right thing for you ;) )

hey thanks everybody. to answer the question, yep, its photoshop 7. the new liquify filter is really cool. ill tweak it, print it , and paint it true to the print. i like distorting the images as of late...this is on mission and 24th street, so this might be your friends truck, HellTaxi. I'm glad y'all like this one.that tree was a fucking bitch to paint, i painted in the sky behind it, and all those telephone and electrical wires as well. subtractive painting is tricky to me...anyway, i have another one just like this one that i did a few months back.

If I would see this painting in a gallery I would just nod respectfully without saying a word. Yep it is that good.
Amazing work El Coro.

Just a quick question: sometimes photos have little "mistakes", like a halo around objects or something like that, on the second painting there is also a blue halo around the tree which makes it very suspicious to the viewer that it was painted from a photo. I just wonder why you didnt leave this information out.

Thats totally cool Coro!!!! I agree with everyone here, I too would love to have something like that hanging on my wall.

so you just take a photo, warp it in p.s. with the liquid function, and then print it? and use it as ref for your painting? or do you project it onto the canvas with a projector? just curious... it might be fun to try.

anyway, I'd love to see more!

holy double-bent banana, batman!

i find this very suspicious...
you know, i never was a fan of that skating/hip-hop/rap/gangsta/grafitti-thing. style wise, clothes wise, music wise... just never float my boat.

now, coro comes, starts his work and i'm floored!
damn, how shall i explain THAT to my friends? maybe i should show them the pics so that they convert, too :)

no shit man... you are among the most admirable artists i have ever seen.

Justin, you Hellboy ! These are real masterpieces. Imagine that you hadn't distorted these images they would've been great anyway. But the distortion brings a special touch, increasing the mood.

brilliant !
