project question

hi all,
i'm new here and have recently started trying to work with photoshop. (i've been drawing with oekakibbs for awhile and i've used paint shop pro, too).
i was reading through the lessons and i was wondering if i can draw directly in photoshop and submit the exercises because i don't have a scanner yet to put in hand drawn pics. is that acceptable to do? thanks.
btw,great site! i've already found some helpful info here. you guys have some major skills!

that's no problem-infact many pros also paint entirely digital (sparth f.ex.).
a good way to exercise is to go to the dsg and post away your fotoshop thingies.
