Hey y'all!

I make mt sketches with normal HB pencil and then drop some shadows with B/2B... I don't know if that's even closer to your set but I manage myself...
What I wanted to know is if anyone could tell me if the Rotring's 'Rapidograph' products are good for paper and to draw some neat outlines...
I thank all of you in advance! ;)

Rotring's website: here (http://www.rotring.de) (just click the English flag)
Rapidograph sample: http://www.rotring.de/www.rotring.com/products/drawing/lokal_images/rapidograph.gif
this goes from 0.13 mm to 2.00 mm

Thanks once again! :)

used in comics to ink tech by some of the newer companies that are also using quill and trying not to use brush anymore. pretty good pens.

hey,

dns2k: Thanks a lot for replying! I checked this out yesterday in a local shop...they had the 0.13 mm one (among others)...do you think this one in nice? I thought it could be too thin...what do you think?
Thanks one more time ;)

In my experience, the ink doesn't flow very smoothly; especially in the smaller nibs. I use it for fine line work. My .25 skips all the time, unless I draw slowly. The Pilot Precise V's I use for other line work never give me any trouble. If you do get one of the smaller tips, use smooth paper and a light touch. Otherwise the paper will clog the tip.

By the way: I have a Rapidoliner, and not a Rapidograph, if that make any difference. They're both by the same company, and seem to be an almost identical product.

Hey!

Thanks for replying :)
I bought mine this morning: Isograph 0.35
They are all the same product (Isograph, Rapidoliner and Rapidograph) but they have been changing names, and ONLY names, I guess...
As you said, it skips some times but I only want it to outlines, as you mentioned, I think it does the work! ;)

Thanks all of you for replying to this thread, I really appreciate it! :) :clapping2
Props to the community!! :jump1:
