This is for a soon to be published card game called "Dungeoneer". The idea was to do a more sinister looking halfling.

Awesome Illustration. I love the colors and everything, great stuff. I love the stuff on your site as well. I really like this hobbit painting, Bannus Mercenary, Anasazai, Leviathan, and so many others. Keep on

it's a great illustration. the style reminds me a bit of the caricaturesque things don seegmiller makes.
although, what turned me off a bit is the design of the figure. vicious, yes, very... i wouldn't dare to stand with my back to him... until i want to try what it is like swimming down a river on the belly, that is...
but it doesn't ring the halfling bell in my head. with halflings, i associate little people, a bit oversized heads and they tend to have a bit of a belly.
a bad halfling, in my eys would be round as other halflings are,. too bit not with the subtone of "savoir vivre" (that i associate with halflings) but bad fat guy-like. know what i mean?
nevertheless, the illustration is great!

Beautiful illustration...wow the stuff on your website kicks butt! I cringed when I came to that one pic of the indian shooting that guy in the face on the horse...wow...totally awesome. Great job man.
