This started out being a vampire character. I guess I let that get away from me. I havent decided if I want to try to go back and push that some more or not. So for now it is what it is. Im going to go back and fix up the knife in the foreground, but aside from that its pretty close to done. C&C is welcome. Thanks

This is pretty good. Pretty darn good. I love the fact that it tells part of a story that is full of tension. We don't know the whole story, but we know enough to make us worried.

The compostion is solid, but the stark value change of the knife in that positionstops the eye in its tracks. I'd also like to see the face receive just a little more "treatment", in order to solidify it as the focal point.

There's even a farily nice balance between warm and cold (though I would stress the warm a little more to push into the full dominent mode).

Very nice.

Some things I would fix:

Blur either the background or the sword.

the guy's right arm is too short.

Otherwise, looking good. thumbs up.

It took me a couple of minuetes to realize what the sword was so, maybe you should put a hand around the hilt poking out so its more obvious as to what that white sharp thing at the bottom. But other than that i think you did a great job on the rendering and the anotomy, so keep up the good work! :rendered:
