For the next 2 years i'm doing a Graphic design course, after that i want to study art, painting drawing, whatever.
The problem is, britain appears to have gone all modern! i can't find one course that deals with classical realism, or anything traditional. i've looked on the ARC site and no uk ateliers are on there, does this mean there aren't any, or they're just not approved by the ARC?!
If anyone has ANY information on this, please give us a shout!
thanks again,
swift

It's a shame that the country that gave us Turner and Constable is seemingly unable to provide decent classical art education thesedays. I remember looking through Art Renewal's Atelier list and being dissapointed to see not even ONE atelier there.
Perhaps an un-tapped market there.

an art school that teaches you to draw - now THERES a crazy concept. I hope it catches on
i know there was no such thing waaaaay back when - i remember a lecturer setting aside anything "representational" in my portfolio, and telling me not to bother with "that sort of thing"
fecker - i dont mind conceptual art (as in tracy emin not feng zhu conceptual), but i think it'd be nice to be able to choose for yourself.
anyone know a max age for this princes school? might be something to set my sights on in a few years...
