Who is going (or will be going) to Watts in Oct?

well, here is the scoop. right now, i live on the west coast (small town in Maryland) and quite frankly, i am tired of it. after meeting some cool people in AusTex, i am now deciding to move to CA (no silly, not conceptart ;p) and it will be the first time that i'll be out on my own (i am only 18 T_T). i am wondering who here is going to Watts... perhaps some of us could get an appartment together. i talked to Velo.. and we were discussing getting a double with two other people. so, essentially, i just want to know what kind of cool peeps will be down there.. it'd be kinda like austin... except 15X longer :P. :chug:

I've heard so many people talking about going to Watts since the workshop! I figure some of it is just talk or wishful thinking, but I am definitely going out there for at least 10 weeks (Oct-Dec session), and like Donk said apartments out there aren't cheap so splitting would be awsome. So, who's going when? ;)

I'm definitely going, just not sure if it's gonna be October, but that's what I'm shooting for anyway. Gonna visit the place sometime this month since I live in Cali.

Well, the reason I didn't go to Austin was that it was a toss up between going to Austin (and waiting til Oct to go to Watts), or scrambling around like a madman and going to Watts in July. So I hit the road next week, bound for the West Coast, I'll probably miss my first day of classes, but that'll still give me 9 weeks of solid study. So I'll probably see some of you in October.

Donkeyslayer, if you're interested, talk to jetpack42, I believe he said he's on his way to Watts for the October session too.
